Dr Neil Smith completed his Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Queensland in 1981. He then worked for a year in country NSW before traveling to England where he worked in private practice for a further 5 years. Upon his return to Australia in 1988, he became the principal of Brookfield Road Dental.
Throughout his career, Neil has kept abreast of the latest developments in dentistry. In 1995 Neil completed a rigorous post graduate examination process that resulted in his admission as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. In addition to that, Neil regularly attends many continuing professional development courses and seminars as well as being a keen participant of a local dental Study Club. He is a member of the Australian Dental Association.
In addition to his studies in dentistry, Neil completed a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Anthropology in 2004.
Outside of dentistry, Neil is an active member of the local community and can often be found coaching the local junior cricket teams. He also enjoys participating in endurance activities such as triathlons and marathons. Neil is married with 3 daughters and 1 son and his weekends are spent enjoying the company of his family.
Dr Philip Rigby is a graduate from the University of Queensland, completing a Bachelor of Dental Science in 1994. After graduating, Phil spent several years working in private practice and government clinics in south-east Queensland and Northern New South Wales before joining the team at Brookfield Road Dental in 1997.
Phil has a long association with the University of Queensland Dental School, where he has been on the teaching staff on a part time basis since 2002, contributing to the mentoring of the next generation of dental students in the areas of removable prosthodontics and general dentistry. Phil is a member of the Australian Dental Association.
Dr Rigby is married with 2 young daughters. He enjoys spending his time with his family, playing golf and riding his bike.
Dr Michelle Erbacher graduated from Dentistry at the University of Queensland in 1995. After graduation she worked for five years on the Sunshine Coast before returning to Brisbane and starting a family.
Michelle started working at Brookfield Road Dental in 2006. Michelle is a member of the Australian Dental Association. As well as her part-time work at this practice she works part-time supervising the final year Bachelor of Oral Health students in their clinical practice.
Michelle is married with three children that keep her very busy the rest of the time.
